Gender Equality & Women's Studies
The women’s movement (also known as the Feminist Movement) in Taiwan became more popular from 1982 as a group of Taiwanese women actively working towards gender equality published the “ Awakening Magazine” in order to promote women’s rights and self-awareness. Once the Taiwanese Martial Law was repealed in 1987, the group established the Awakening Foundation in order to further mobilize women and offer social resources to the community. In 2014, the Foundation moved their database, the Women’s Movement Records of Awakening Foundation to Tamkang University Library for the sustainable management and preservation.
This page not only guide you to use the database but also show you more related subject resources on issues of women's studies、gender equity、sex equity、gender relations、feminism and so on.
