The Code Wall is decorated on the wall of the Collections and Technical Services Section located at the first floor of the Main Library. The wall is made up of quadrels and straight steel bars. There are 14 sets of letters and digits named as call numbers engraved on the quadrels. What is a call number? A call number represents an item's subject matter and indicates the location on the shelf where the item can be found.
The wall also symbolizes roles of the library: a world of knowledge, and the leadership on information organization.
