Start Internet Explorer → Click 「Tools」 in the menubar → Click 「Internet Options」

 → Click the 「Connections 」 → Click on 「LAN Settings 」

→ Check or uncheck 「Use automatic configuration script」

Note : Suggest you check 「Use automatic configuration script」, it is rapidly to connect the E-sources.

→ Type this URL in the box labeled Address: http://proxy.tku.edu.tw/proxy.pac

For dial-up your Internet Service Provider (ISP)

Start Internet Explorer

→ Click 「Tools」 in the menubar

→ Click 「Internet Options」

→ Click the 「Connections 」

→ Move curser to Broadband connections, and then click 「Settings 」

→ Check a proxy server and type the URL: libproxy.tku.edu.tw , port:3128.

→ Type user name and password in this dialog box.

User name (all 9 digitals) : Student ID/ Faculty ID / Staff ID (filled 0 to 9 digitals)

Password: password of WebPAC (International Student contacts the desk librarian)

 

| Configuring Safari on Macintosh

Choose System 「Preferences」 from the Apple menu

→ Choose the 「Network」 icon to open the Network dialog box.

→ Click the Proxies button and under "Select a proxy server to configure" scroll down to the「Web Proxy (HTTP)」.

→ Enter the following URL and port in the URL field under "Web Proxy Server" on the right:

→ URL: libproxy.tku.edu.tw , port:3128

→Type user name and password in this dialog box.

User name (all 9 digitals) : Student ID/ Faculty ID / Staff ID (filled 0 to 9 digitals)

Password: Passport Number after six digitals
